Beauty Salon owner is an arrogant, ignorant prick.

What possesses someone to completely disregard what they have planning permission for and just crack on how you feel.

Looks like he's got away with it too.

To build that castle under cover with no assistance is an amazing feat, but honestly these people are idiots!

That 'bungalow' extension is hideous too.

Moaning about builders turning up to demolish their house, which they knew was coming and then moaned about no warning.

£40K to remove a caravan?!!!?!?!!?!?!?!

The planning inspector just happened to have an Asian name.
Basically the council said the house was rebuilt and not an extension so chucked out on a technicality.
I'm sure he is going to loose next time

Chancers, the lot of them.

Didn't understand why caravanman didn't just slice 19" off his mobile home if that would get it under the legal definition and be done with it. It's not like he would have foundations to re-lay or brick wall to shift. As it is, there was a clear legal definition of what defines a caravan, his was outside that definition, deal with it. Can't be letting one person have 19" over or the next one will want 24" and then next one 36" and where does it stop. It needs to stop at the clear legal definition, that's where.

Yep.

No sympathy for people who either didn't bother to pay attention to the rules, or wilfully set out to take the piss, that end up having their homes demolished.

The "bungalow extension" should be demolished simply on the grounds that it is an offence against taste.

It is a hideous monstrosity. And what's that about 'my kids want sharks'. They are all fookin idiots.

Dig pool. Add water. Add kids. Add sharks. Sorted.

<screaming>

"So, you DON'T want sharks, then?"

This. They know all along that they're breaking the law, but seem to think they can do what they like. I couldn't find any sympathy for any of them.

Didn't watch it but, if you're going to spend any significant money on your home, you'd make sure that you were doing it without risking planning issues etc.

yikesyikes. Probably wouldn't happen today with more Elf 'n Safety. Everybody was just standing around talking to him while he pointed the pistol at them. Like they thought it wasn't loaded, or that he wouldn't really shoot it.
