Chew chew chew chewy

My mate used to do lots of impressions. He was very good at scooby do, mickey mouse, Arnie and the like.
Sadly he passed away a couple of weeks ago, and one of his later impressions was to say chew chew chew chewy in a really high pitched voice.
We were sat there at the wake on Friday remembering him fondly, and none of us could place where this impression comes from.
There is a feeling it could be from 22 Jump Street, but nobody is sure.
I said I would ask on here as somebody on Pistonheads always has the answer.
