For those interested, on the Yesterday TV Channel tonight at 9pm, there's a show about engineering challenges. The first one tonight is about the new Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier.

Thanks for the tip, but the programme was disappointing. Dumbed down for the masses and too many tenuous references to lessons from the past.

Indeed, it wasn't great, compared to some of the programmes that have aired about ship build (Astute, T45 etc). Hopefully a better documentary about her will be done. The presenter was awful too, busy scratching his leg while talking to camera, very odd. The footage of the ship was pretty good though, for those who haven't seen much of her.

I noticed the presenter scratching himself on camera, very odd indeed.
The few shots of the actual ship were interesting, but they didn't show any of the areas I am most keen to see.

Which area's did you want to see? I wanted to see more about the Mission Systems area's as I worked on it for 8 years in the MS team.
