Jason Statham Transporter Accent

What exactly is it? This must surely be the worst film accent of all time. Worse than Dick Van Dyke. Worse than Harrison Ford's Russian in K-19. What is comical is that the accent seems to get worse with each instalment, so by transporter 3 he just seems to give up all together. Still, makes these rather terrible films all the more entertaining.

Seriously go and watch it. It goes between a "Godfather" style accent to Phil Mitchell and all points in between. It is something to behold.

Oh no, not at all..

He is British, but is trying to play some kind of American most of the time.

Not even that chick with the Uzi's (or whatever)? It's not a good film but she certainly made an impression on me.

I think 'the Stath' pinnacled the accent game in the Jet Li film, The One. At least I think that's what it was called - he's some sort of time policeman or somesuch. Anyway, he utterly masters going from Cockney to Mid-Atlantic via Australia all in the same sentence. Man's a fking chameleon.
