Did anyone notice the scene where the male CID bloke gets into the female officer's car?
She's stationary, looking straight ahead, and then rather robotically rotates her head than then smiles as she greets him.
I can't imagine that was random...?
10 points to this man! She's stationary, looking straight ahead, and then rather robotically rotates her head than then smiles as she greets him.

The bag in the throat was brilliant.
Getting better and better and as for being his son it sounds like a dying brain dump?
I also like the idea of this being a parallel universe to ours idea rather than a over the top future with electric cars and wall TVs and transparent computer screens (never got that idea).
Really looking forward to next weeks. Oddly someone I know is really is not a scifi, techo buff is really enjoying this.
Hope it comes out on DVD.

Woo hoo...wild card has been used.
.. looks like he's about to get busted too! Think in that situation you'd wait until you either:
a) knew for sure that you had total privacy
b) had a Fritzl style get-up in the basement.
Either way I'd be off work for a few days after with a bad back..
All this talk of "Synths". Anyone else hear that and think Jean Michel Jarre, Vince Clarke, Ultravox etc..? Speaking of which, love the music in this - similar to Utopia but more subtle.
Oh, and Niska. Wow.

What's the point in 'Adult mode' if she (it) just lies there like a sack of spuds?! I'd be expecting swinging from chandeliers screeching yee-haa cowboy. If he wanted that level of fun he could have just bedded his wife.
I think he must have finished before she had a chance to start. I'm quite enjoying this show, I thought last night's episode was the best yet. What would be great is if it gets signed up for another series and gets a huge budget increase (AMC that produce The Walking Dead are backers). Then we could be looking at something like TWD / IRobot / Planet of the Apes / The Terminator, in terms of a populace overrun by machines or synthetics that have decided they no longer want to be subservient & gaining awareness etc.
This could be the small, subtle beginnings of a mechanical apocalypse.
Or it could just run for one series and fizzle out.

Looks like John hurt is in it - the entrepreneur behind the lifelike tech breakthrough to be revealed when they try to get to the 'core'...
Well, no. Unless I'm watching the wrong series , and as said above, I think it's William HurtThe semi-synth son doing the searching has a dad who will be revealed later, but we see him fleetingly at the start in the newsreel type footage.
That I believe is John Hurt's character.
