Apparently the Swedish version, Real Humans, is more 'adult', there will probably be a porn franchise along soon.
Until then, you bunch of deviants will have to make do with the Victorian English version.
The point of her not enjoying the sex actively, was precisely that! She has feelings and was being violated.
Probably has a plastic bag down their too - how romantic.
Such a scenario would give the CPS some interesting conundrums with their rape guidelines.

But plenty of peeps endure 'relations' with a little rubber sack in place, too.The club for clubbing the synths appeared to have official sanction - that would lead to ethical questions too, surely? (The idea of knocking six bells out of a lookalike / Aunt Sally etc - gold mine for the trick cyclists).

It was just a reference to the stomach bag, not a serious comment!!!!!!!!!!!

Did it? I got the impression it was an 'underground' club the likes of which was known about but not sanctioned per se. Much like a brothel/massage parlour today for example.
Sorry, me bullstting.Only because they (the police) mentioned the 'bash club' or whatever and it was well set up (albeit with scaffolding - as opposed to informal bare knuckle boxing rings in dusty barns etc etc). As we don't see how they dispose of the waste I'm expecting there is a formal recycling arrangement due to the value of the goods, plus a requirement for licensing the disposal of batteries (am I over thinking this now?). The synths themselves will be recording the location and possibly the people there. So if it's illegal there's a lot of evidence to hide/dispose of. Presumably a large crusher would suffice (although the batteries have be properly handled or so I'm told).
Oddly there was no betting on site. Or a tea stall. So not like real life.
I think there is a code within the 5 heads (4 synths and the boy) and when put together will unlock a hidden level on Super Mario Kart.
(or it will disseminate the knowledge (the way the synths 'link and share data') to all synths to become more 'human' - and they all become switched on and then 'we' become the endangered species)

Yes I was thinking something similar(or it will disseminate the knowledge (the way the synths 'link and share data') to all synths to become more 'human' - and they all become switched on and then 'we' become the endangered species)

..will we see secret old synths that are actually way ahead of the more modern stuff?
We already have, have we not? The Police Officer. Who has brown eyes and a removal stomach it seems to give the impression of eating/drinking. And little Miss 14 years old....The more "modern" synths are likely to have been produced as they are so people are not as worried, they are just "simple" machines i.e. as the lady said, they only recognise emotion if you were crying your eyes out...

This is getting really rather good.
William Hurt is always great.
One of the show's strengths is the quality of the cast. I'm particularly impressed by the 'house synth' Annita. She manages the trick of being a blank faced machine with a hidden soul. William Hurt is always great.
Regarding the big twist at the end of this weeks episode, if it wasn't for this thread I would never have suspected. Even moments before the plastic bag trick, I thought "she's drinking the wine and pulling a face to suggest it's cheap plonk".
In case I haven't mentioned it before, I really like this program.

Except that bloke that plays the detective. I find him difficult to watch to be honest. Either it's a badly-imagined character, or he's a terrible actor. The way he's dressed and acts suggests he should either be playing the lead in Derek, or having difficulty with personal interactions at a miniature warfare convention. Not being a detective. Even if you're creating a character that is resistant to new technology and engrossed in his work, there's still no excuse for giving him the glasses worn by the captain of the USS Dallas in The Hunt for Red October.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
