She managed to stay on that seat ok despite no seat belt!
Now there's a question; do they feel cold to touch or are they heated?
Heated yes otherwise the 'secret' synths would be an easy spot.

As soon as I posted and saw all the physical interaction going on I knew it was a daft question laugh

woohoo Great episode tonight. Love the bit with 'Fred' & 'Edwin Hobb' in the house (not giving the exciting bit away). These two:

a little disappointing though... pretty obvious plot "twist"? seems to be coming... who or what is/was the CID Synth.. I wonder.... not seeing a certain persons face in all the flashback scenes...hmmm..

Why has no one mentioned her as a "sister" so far though?

TX.

Edit - missing "as"!

As for similar scenes from films... After watching The Watch on Saturday night.

When the CID synth cut her hand to show the blue blood, I wanted him to put some on his finger and taste it, saying 'Yeah, it tastes like cum... redfaceyikes ' hehe

Maybe she's the other sister and Mia is the mum?

They don't seem to be going all out to confound the audience with "I didn't see that coming" moments. I don't mind that at all.

Very good episode this week. I thought William Hurt's explanation of his attachment to his old synth was touching. It's also relevant to the "why make them look human" discussion.

And if their father committed suicide after creating the main ones, who made her?

Presumably he did, before loading himself in there and then killing himself. Just my guess.

Well, in one scene I thought (as in the replay from his memory) it flashed up as about 4-5 "people" (maybe synths) in the room which then panned across to the synths we currently know have a consciousness.

"Mia" is one hell of an actress though

Indeed. Switching personalities in an instant. And even blank "domestic appliances" mode there's usually a hint of something more going on. I especially liked the moment when she was in the back of the car and asked if one of the children was in danger.

When we had the flashback scene just after he had kicked them all out then they were all back in the room with Davis, I got the impression there was something there that they didnt want to show the daughter, like maybe they killed him.

Damn, I'm missing stuff then, need to stop watching over my laptop, this show deserves more.

I think the blonde synthy actor is phenomenal.

I've been really enjoying this series so far, but it's interesting to compare it to the video on the BBC website about the Robot World Cup here. There is some way go to yet before Humans become reality smile
I would think the really good tech won't be seen for years.

yes

I like how her character is Mia now, but the movement (stand, turn eyes, turn head, turn move) is still the robotic Anita.

Yes, the other bloke (currently been for a nice swim) is also more robotic whilst the escapee bloke and the blonde are both more fluid. I assumed this reflected some differences in their programming.
