They did touch briefly on the ins and outs of the synths committing murder, I think it was last week's episode? Basically as the law hasn't caught up yet, they would be classed as a faulty appliance and scrapped. So if you accept that they're alive, by turning them in you are sending them to a death sentence without trial as the law stands.

It's on Vimeo I think (someone linked to it earlier in this thread) and there's two series too!

I think the Swedish version is very slow. Prefer the UK version.
