Wow that was an amazing start to the new series loved it.
Have to differ - barring the odd explosion, that was grim, talky, humourless episode.

I'll be watching the whole series anyway wink

Watching new episode now. It's not good that I keep playing with my phone.

Finding it very dull.

A shame as I loved the previous series.

I agree. Do robot things. Have laser eyes, chainsaws for arms.

One blow and dead? Oh and green/orange eyes? If thousands of people had been killed you would end production recall existing models and crush them.

It is only episode 1 but already think it's gone to seed, anyone remember V? Great, relatively simple premise but ran out of steam. I'll see where it goes but think 2 series was enough especially the way it was left.

That TV series with the reptiles wearing human skin? That TV series terrified me as a child...

I do hope they don't try political moralising.

We have a minority group who have had a terrorist attack carried out in their name.
Lots of this minority crossing the channel to get to the UK.

Caught Thursday's episode last night - I must admit that I was bored by it. The only interesting parts were Niska's short entry in to the episode - I can see something happening between Karen and Joe.

One question I have here - Won't Karen have to move soon? Surely Sam won't grow and that will raise some eyebrows?

I take it by the lack of entries on this thread that this new series is not up-to-much. Certainly didn't watch this week's episode as thought it rather silly, the series so far that is.

Probably something to do with the political moralising disguising itself as a plot. I hate being preached to in a subversive manner so am probably going to stop watching.

Interesting.

Threads on TV series generally become gradually more positive as the people who didn't enjoy it and stopped watching lose interest, leaving the fans to discuss the plot.

This doesn't seem to follow the pattern.

I gave up half way through Series 2, so what do I know?

It feels like it has potential, but there does seem to be a political message there which is very, very thinly veiled.

It has to come out about Mattie though surely?

A fantastic idea of a series that started with 'droids being common place like iPhones and I liked the way everything else was normal. No self drive cars or living in a spaceship. Brilliant.

Now it's just turned into a dull dialogue between us and them. Maybe it's a hidden immigration thought provoking thing. Who knows and at the moment who cares. Just do something crazy.

The "Dryden commision spending time with the synths" bit feels utterly predictable...

I'm watching this as I have time invested in it, but I'm just not feeling as connected to it as the first series - Or the second. One assumes that the "orange eyes" become autonomous - Perhaps with a "green eyes take on the orange eyes with the green eyes becoming victorious and thusly becoming accepted in society" way?

I’m still watching, but I don’t feel as invested in it as I did in series 1and 2. Instead of being full of anticipation, it’s taking me a couple of days to get round to watching each episode. But I will stick with, at least until the end of this series.
