That looks rather good.
I have a feeling that someone has seen that BBC zombie drama.

"What are we going to do now"
"Rebuild".....

Reminded me of
"They told me I was daft to build a castle in a swamp, but I did it all the same! That castle sank into the swamp. So I built a second! That also sank into the swamp. So I built a third! That burned down, fell over, then sank into the swamp. But then I built a fourth one, and that one stands today!"

have they used clever CGI or replaced him with a plank of wood?

Saw this last night, acting was so bad i was actually laughing in all the wrong places. Cheesier than a bag of Wotsits, but good FX. The Rock is still good fun, but this movie didin't really play to his strengths - he's much better in a comedy type/less serious roles. Expected a reasonably good film based on reviews, got something a bit crap if i'm honest.

Seen Walking Tall? I think it's the Rocks's best film.

It wasn't a bad afternoon between shift movie today - it'll make a half decent Channel 5 Sunday night movie in a year or so.

The only bit I think they did exceptionally well was the first 5 minutes, I really thought the chick in the car was going to be dead meat

The ending - sadly smooschy American tat - none of the main characters died frown and the giant US flag miraculously unravelling itself on what's left of the Golden Gate bridge made me want to vomit

I can't believe this girl below who plays Blake is nearly 30, she must be taking some sort of age defying pills bow

All round, a pretty good brain out action movie with some good looking actors (male and female), lots of destruction and some pretty good special effects all slightly spoiled by too much Hollywood cheese.

p.s. Kylie Minogue plays a bit part in this and she looks suspiciously like her face has met with a scalpel at some point...

Of the 3 films mentioned in this thread San Andreas was probably the best. It's well OTT but it's a disaster movie so it's to be expected.Never got boring unlike some films,Mad Max being a prime example.A truly awful film.Maggie comes somewhere between the two, a good idea not fully exploited

watched it at the weekend, and enjoyed it.
My only comment would be, San Francisco has just experienced the biggest quake in the history of the world, and their top helicopter / firefighter is swanning around on personal errands in one of their helicopters, and no-one says anything?

I thought it was utter bks.

It doesn't even fall into the 'so bad it's good' category for me and I happily sat through Megashark vs the Colossus the other week.

Can any of the pilots on here explain something to me? At the beginning, when he 'tips the hat', how the hell would he get back out again?
