Yes, absolutely, but also why does the mate seem to be marrying a 16yr old girl, who is incredibly annoying "I do look pretty don't I" who is so loyal she plays along and encourages the stalkerish behaviour? Annoying in itself, then Boris turns up doing it. The worlds gone mad!!

The other annoying thread of the film for me is the woman with the mentally ill brother who seems to only be allowed one and only chance to pull a guy she's fancied for ages and she wrecks it by just not switching off her phone for 30 minutes, really nonsensical, even though we;'re supposed to feel that she couldnb't overcome the love for her sick brother to have another relationship.

Then just a few little things - Prime minister and Martine Mcutcheon going at it behind the scenes of the school panto and getting caught, Claudia Schiffer appearing and then despite Liam Neeson talking about her earlier, doesn't recognise her (so what, they end up together and Neesoon is now going out with someone he fancies because she looks liek Cladia Schiffer, but iks actually her? Ow my head hurts...!) Then the worst at the end, the American girls that Colin pulls (improbably, in America's worst ever bar, but funny anyway) arriving back at Heathrow and Denise Richards rusahing out to snog Colin's mate literally seeing him for 3 seconds just felt wrong.

But if they remake Love Actually then the rest of the film, which has some great bits will likely be ruined, and so will my Christmas. I've also heard that my own favourite Christmas film Trading Places is being remade. I admit I'm having a bit of trouble now because of Dan Akroyd's blackface, but if that was ever remade they'd also be filtering out Clarence Beake's great swearing and Jamie Lee Curtis's boobs, so no, just no!

For example they really messed up the Egg (Rory McGregor) and Keira Knightly story, and that could be better done differently
That was Andrew Lincoln. But if he had seen her on the walking dead he'd probably have shot her.

I just took that for the meta joke it was, Neeson constantly banging on about Claudia Schiffer and then having her actually playing a role as his new squeeze.

Home Alone remake by Disney... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/newsbeat-50743023
How's that going to work in 2019 in a world where everyone has a mobile phone and is connected to the internet?

I see there's another Black Christmas film about to be released, a remake of the 2006 version, which in turn was a remake of the 1974 version.

This is the first year I haven't been to the cinema once, it feels as if Hollywood is dying.

Apart from being set around underground fighting, that sounds nothing like Fight Club.

Even "Little Shop Of Horrors" cannot escape the remake bandwagon

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/chri...

Nothing wrong with the fine original starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin.

There's a Face/Off remake in some stage of production, no confirmed cast, but Hugh Jackman was asked if he'd do it with Ryan Reynolds. Taking up the mock feud joke between them, he said he'd do it if he never had to be with Reynolds during any of it hehe

https://screenrant.com/face-off-movie-remake-hugh-...

If the remake does happen, it's a decent pairing to do it.

Even worse news from that link, they're making Scream 5! How many more do they need?
