Couple of things to add to this thread

The Craft remake isn't a remake anymore, its a 20 years later sequel http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/the-craft/40488/th...

The kid from Flight of the Navigator (who is 42 now) has been charged with a bank robbery in Canada http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-36215...

Yes. It's a Tom Cruise film (insert new version of the Rich Hall Tom Cruise joke here hehe ), the latest on it is that it's the first part of a monster movie universe, with Russell Crowe making an appearance as Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde.

Jesus fking wept.

It gets worse:

article said:
Shia LaBeouf is favourite to be cast in the lead role as the infamous Marty McFly, replacing Michael J.Fox. Earlier today, the 29-year-old actor tweeted: “@TheRock Great scott! Yo Doc, you ready? It’s time to go back baby!” The tweet which was quickly deleted, appeared to suggest Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson would replace Christopher Lloyd as the iconic Doc Brown.
