I love that film, and it was quite different to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. I have both, and love them both. (Although DRS may just edge it with the Rupret scenes)

Not so sure I'll be adding the Rebel Wilson version to my library, though.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels was a most excellent remake of a rather boring film.

The 80's was the best decade for films.

^^^ I agree about the 80s being the best decade.

This week... The Lion King.

Thing is, I know people in their twenties and thirties that will Never watch anything older than them.

Seriously come on.

Awaits confirmation of a remake of another Tom Hanks great - Big.

No doubt with Rebel Wilson or some other hilarious female comedy actor playing the lead adult role rolleyes

Would make the final scene quite interesting.

12 year old Josephine Baskin walks back towards her home, adult clothes falling off her after being dropped off by the 30 something male work colleague she copped off with.

She turns to look back longingly at him and wave - just as 20 police cars round the corner, taze the guy and haul him off on child abduction and abuse charges hehe

Sure.

The new Splash movie will be quite short too. Butt ass naked merman jumps over the barrier at the Statue of Liberty - get immediately arrested for indecent exposure and spends the rest of the movie picking up soap in the prison shower. Splash meets Shawshank....... biggrin

Will they never learn.

Can anyone name a good 'all female main cast' remake?

Female 'team up' movies don't tend to do well anyway - let alone when they are a remake of a previous team up movie involving blokes.

Just who they are trying to appeal to with these films.
