Agent Carter is gonna be screened on Fox.
Haven't seen it. The eponymous hero looks like I may be gracing another Marvel output with my patronage. biggrin

Takes a two or three episodes to get up some steam but is quite good once it does. Renewed for another season too!

It is very good and was renewed with a 10 season order to fill in the Mid season break of AOS.

Does it being here on Fox mean it will be on Now TV online?

As a non Skyer, that's good. I'll get it again for a while when it's there.

Watched the first episode back when it came out and although it had promise, it was held back by the writers non-stop, preachy, pontificating over the attitudes to woman at the time. Yes - we get that Carter is super-capable, much more so than the men around here yet doesn't get the recognition she deserves because women weren't taken seriously - no need to keep repeating the theme every bloody 5 minutes. Also didn't help that it really didn't have the budget to pull off what is essentially a period drama with lots of action.

That said, it looked interesting enough and certainly had potential. I must get around to watching the rest or recording them when they air in the UK.

Caught up with the first one last night. Enjoyed it. I liked what's his name as the butler, and Hayley Atwell is very glamorous!

Didn't Agent Carter appear in one of the Agents of Shield episodes? Was there some kind of time travel involved because she should have been over 90 by the time Agent Phil was on the scene.

She appeared in 2 episodes of Season 2 - episodes 1 and 8. Both flashback scenes to 1940's with Reinhardt and the Obelisk/Deviner

Just caught up on this and I agree with Lucas which meant I found it frustrating to watch, also can't put my finger on it but there is just something missing. Maybe I'm just tired of Marvel stuff?

Watched the first two eps. Good stuff, a lil hokey, but love the music and the bazongas on the eponymous hero.
Better than I expected after reading some of the above. The 'put the kettle on luv' stuff isn't too much.
