Could be interesting. Matt LeBlank is a global name with a lot more provenance than Chris Evans. How long until Mr Ego is fed up with being in the shadow of an international star and demands that he leave the show? No doubt the publicised reason will be something like 'creative differences'.

I think it's a great signing - charismatic, funny and sufficiently his 'own man' in terms of profile that he can stand apart from those that have gone before. I think he'll be very good.

Also I read Richard Porter's book ("And On That Bombshell") and hadn't realised how deeply integrated he was with TG. Is he still working with them or will he go with C, M & H? His relationship was really with them for 13 years or so, I don't think TG on Amazon would be the same without him and Wilman (is Wilman going with the trio to Amazon too?).

He's also a massive petrolhead, and was the fastest ever in SIARPC, so he can drive a bit - probably better than Evans can, and his worldwide fame will probably be handy for trying to keep TG's worldwide sales figures up after the 'Trio' left.

Assuming Sabine is still in, it's a much more international lineup. It will be interesting to see to what extent the "Britishness" of the old TG contributed to its international success.
