The million people who voted to have clarkson re instated should boycott it as should everyone else.
Let it fail and send the Beeb another message that their brand of st political correctness isn't wanted by a large silent majority in this country
Besides it will be st
I would imagine the vast majority of License payers are working class so next Sunday at 8pm the BBC show is about fake Art WTF.Let it fail and send the Beeb another message that their brand of st political correctness isn't wanted by a large silent majority in this country

It needs demolishing down to the last brick
'Their brand of political correctness' being to effectively sack someone for assaulting a fellow member of staff, as you would expect for any other company to do if it happened anywhere else? Or would you expect the BBC to let him away with it 'because he's famous/makes the BBC a lot of money'?

Don't know if anyone's mentioned Guy Martin yet, but I seem to remember reading somewhere, quite recently, that he's been quoted as saying he wouldn't want to do TG.
Jody Kidd ... tolerable.
Suzy Perry ... tolerable.
VBH ... tolerable
David Mitchell ... are you serious?
Dermot O'fking Leary ... I'd never watch it again.
Steve Coogan ... he'd be OK
Phil glenister ... also OK.
Ed China ... would be fantastic.
Can't think of a single female I'd really want. Oh yes I can - Rachel Riley. (mmmmm.....)
With regard to the Stig, doesn't Clarkson still own the rights to that?
Guy Martin gets mentioned every second comment. I don't think any of your choices would be good, and I'm not sure who would. Jody Kidd ... tolerable.

I don't know either. The thing about TG was the interaction between the presenters. They worked as a trio. Sequences with only two of them never worked as well. The new Top Gear will fly or fail based on the interaction and genuine rapport between the presenters - not based on how good any of them are individually.......and that cannot be known until we see them all on screen together (assuming that is the format they go with).
Look at how TG started way back when. It was quickly realised that Jason Dawe just didn't have the chemistry with Clarkson and Hammond - and so May was brought in instead. The new TG may have the same teething issues and we just have to hope that:
1. It can be recovered by replacing one or more of the presenters who just don't gel.
2. The producers have the balls to make such a call ASAP.

Surely not his dire 'King of Speed' where he showed himself to be anything but?
He's got a new show coming out next Monday. I hope it's an improvement of the last one which was pretty poor. It was more about him than anything elsse which I guess was fair enough but good viewing it wasn't. Excellent actors do not necessarily make good TV hosts Edited by Smollet on Monday 29th June 12:54
