The 1975 to 1985 time frame.

I've been watching Buck Rogers in the 25th century, also watched the 1st 2 episodes of CHiPs

Buck, just as daft as it was back then, CHiPs, much better than I expected.

I've just finished watching ITV4's complete re-running of Magnum P.I.

It is surprisingly it didn't seem too dated, perhaps because Magnum always wore unfashionable Hawaiian shirts and Higgins was an anachronism even in period.

I was watching Hill St Blues but then got side tracked by BCS and a few other things. It was pretty good so I should pick it back up.

I watched the first couple of seasons of battlestar galactica a month or so back wasn't as good as I remember. But still entertaining.

Magnum PI - loved it back then, love it now. Still one of the best opening title sequences and music ever!

The Fall Guy - still awesome. Still love his pickup truck. thumbup

Higgins was always an annoying cliché. The actor was actually a Texan.

Get out! Higgins was awesome. Made the show.

Was he or wasn't he actually Robin Masters?!?

TC was annoying, but he had a cool chopper so we'll let him off.

For Christmas I was given Miami Vice series one. The odd ropey bit but much better than I expected after seeing a few early episodes on TV over the years...

It was ambiguous... In the final episodes he both denied and admitted it, and then it concluded with him confessing "I lied".

I recently tried to rewatch Buck Rogers, and it has not aged well. It was daft back in 78 (?) and even worse now.
Where did you find CHiPs? would like to watch that again

The original Battlestar Galactica has always held up well for being 30 years old

Really? Hard not to like in my opinion...

Now and then I dip into my collection of The Professionals. A bit crap, but surprisingly tough in places.

What was really good was The Sweeney... Really stood the test of time and the quality was excellent.

Not so good was Gerry Anderson's UFO, which I loved as a teenager. Some good episodes, but a lot of it was pretty ropey...

I totally agree, Erin Grey made the show watchable. The rest of it was dire when looking back

I seem to remember it got a little pretentious & disappeared up its own arse in season 2, but after that it was fine.

I think it was a lot later than that. Season two or three went mega violent there were lots of complaints then they went all mystical and hippy dippy for a while also bad sonny smile

Magnum is one of the few US shows from that time that I can still watch. The stars and the writing, and the act that is was a tad meta, as a lot of US shows were back then.

Mr Merlin? biggrin

YouTube, quality is pretty dire though.
