Tragic.

Love most of his stuff, but the opening sequence in The Perfect Storm still sends me to a different universe.

Really sad.

Always been a big movie composer buff, and loved him, John Williams and Hans Zimmer, with a wee bit of Vangelis.

61 isn't an age, and a great loss to the movie community.

Might watch Star Trek 2 tonight.
