just popped it on. that fat bint beggars belief. has nobody ever told her beggars can't be choosers? if you want to be in a lovely modern place with a garden then get off your fat arse and fking earn it love, like the rest of us.

Thing is with fat bint is that she's prepared to put her kids on street in order to piss the council off and make them give in to a home that she wants.

I really hope the council call her bluff, but I doubt they will.

Can't watch this kind of stuff, not many things make me angry but these terrible people do. I'm sure that's the intention of the producers so I'll just avoid them.

A couple threatened with eviction where told by the landlord that he has a mortgage to pay, they haven't paid rent in three months and they just laugh about it.

bks. I'm a landlord. If you can't afford to let a property produce no income for 3 months you're doing it wrong.

I felt sympathetic initially when they were being interviewed initially by ginger jesus and made it sound like they were renting from Hoogstraten. But seriously, what do both of them do all day? Get the marigolds on or make your kids homeless? What a terrible decision to have to make!

My mum has a rental property in Liverpool. Currently unrented. every time it is let out it costs her thousands in repairs afterwards.

last time the tenants guarantor just 'vanished' (i.e. didnt answer the door to the bailiffs) once the court had decided they should pay for the repairs. Mums seriously out of pocket, again, and is choosing not to rent it out and pay the mortgage herself because its cheaper. Utter scum.

Edit: the two dheads who hadn't paid their rent have a daschund? My sister got one of those, cost the best part of a grand ffs.

That's a bit harsh, its a minimum of three months, if you are lucky ,mortgage ,plus eviction fees so it cost me total of £7980 lost rent inc solicitors bailiffs ,and that's the money side not including being royally pissed off , but I chose to be a landlord so you take the good with the bad .

Just watched this myself. Its the council employees i feel for, the amount of crap they get from people who go in expecting the queens palace because of some crap excuse.
That large women with her severe anxiety would sleep on the streets... wheres your anxiety then? Walk up the damn stairs.

Let us not forget that the vast majority of council (latterly ALMO, TMO etc , did C4 mention this important point??) tenants are decent folks who their landlord doesn't hear from year in year out .

Ditto HA tenants, and private tenants.

So, C4 does the BBC "school of propoganda"... WHO KNEW???

It was good to see the only decent person in it get the best property at the end. Occasionally nice guys do win. That dreadful woman with the kids who thought she was above the property offered to her. The Romanian was one of the best adverts for UKIP that C4 could have wheeled out. The couple whose Landlord wanted them out for dog mess were cretins. Her getting the hump because people deigned to tell her, correctly, that she lives like scum
