Watched the first episode a while back,as the reviews seemed quite good.Unfortunately,I compared it to Walking Dead and was bored, really quickly.Really poor acting and characters who you're not really bothered about.
Will probably give it another go as I've given up after a single episode!

Its no walking dead, think of it as its low budget SyFi channel cover of it and you wont be disappointed.

Looks good to me. Plenty of zombie action in the trailer.

After 5 variable seasons of TWD and numerous average movies I think the zombie genre has been done to death in recent years. No one else?

It's worth sticking with, it felt like they reworked the concept as they went along and there were changes in cast and concept that made it much better.

At the beginning it felt a bit stupid and jokey, but it improved. Don't take the first episodes as being representative of the whole thing.

Watched episode 1 and 2 of this last night - on Pick TV.

Loved it.

Not as 'weighty' issue wise as Walking Dead but has a sense of humour and really rips along.

Interesting variation on the 'Eugene' storyline from Walking dead as main premise.

Like the 'man in Alaska' watching the world dying by satellite

Worth catching for zombie fans

Enjoyed the first episode but not so sure on the second. Worth persevering until I get bored as I'm sure I will as I did with the WD

That's true - the second episode was 'quieter' than the first, but then literally the world as we know it ended in the first, so I guess it was always going to be an anticlimax - but I still found it enjoyable and episode 3 in Philly with a bit of gang menance thrown in sounds better again.

Like you, I found the WD tedious after a bit and took a 2 season break before coming back and catching up - now I can't wait for next series.

They're all the same old stories really - but I like 'em!

Quiet enjoyed that episode, despite some dodgy acting. Liking the way the baddies seem to be dispatched quickly and not dragged out over a series smile

Last night's was nothing overly special as with any Zombie programme they all have good guys, bad guys, a cause and an intrepid bunch struggling with life and killing zombies in the time honoured fashion of zapping them in the head. However having a geek being a DJ in the Arctic was an amusing twist.
