Delores killed Arnold
But I think that Ford is a host
I think Delores is based on a real Delores who was Arnold's wife. But I think that Ford is a host
I also had a crazy idea that might not quite work as well (unless Delores's memories have been changed) that Ford is Arnold and Bernard/Arnold was really Ford.

Question re: the last episode. If Ford had built a back door into all the hosts, as demonstrated to Bernarnold, why did he bother going through all the charade with giving him all his memories back and then having him destroy himself? Surely he could have simply re-programmed him again? Seemed like a little contrived plot vehicle.
Ford actually states the reason. 'Well I suppose I was hoping that given complete self-knowledge and free will you'd have chosen to be my partner once again...'Rather than terminate him? As it suggests that he was a perfectly suitable partner before hand.

Ford was originally a woman called Dolores. When she became a man, she had herself made as she was a reminder of how much...she liked blue dresses and guns.I also had a crazy idea that might not quite work as well (unless Delores's memories have been changed) that Ford is Arnold and Bernard/Arnold was really Ford.

Ford was originally a woman called Dolores who was originally a ladyboy called Wanda, which explains all the big guns that don't really hurt you...Quick question as it's becoming increasingly difficult to avoid spoilers and my attention is massively piqued by this series...
If I get hold of a Now TV with a 3 month entertainment pack (a whole £15 on amazon), will that let be binge watch it over the Christmas break?
I could torrent it, but that's too much arsing around and I'm time poor these days.
Cheers in advance!

I think it's implied they've been here a number of times before and he's resigned to the fact Bernard won't make a different choice
It is also a test to see if Bernard can overcome the programming and refuse to kill himself. Practice Self preservation, which would be the downfall of the park. Arnold can readily build another Bernard. Lucas Ayde said:
Yeah, I think that the goal of Delos/MiB is to create hosts capable of carrying human consciousness, essentially to offer eternal life to the rich.
I don't think they share a goal, MiB told Charlotte he didn't care about her corporate objectives. Delos want to secure and exploit the technology in new areas, probably as spys or military. MiB I'm less sure about but pretty sure it doesn't align with Charlotte.Lucas Ayde said:
From what I can see, Ford just has a God complex and wants to be the master of his own private universe through creating the hosts and Westworld generally. Obviously that takes a lot of cash so charging rich people astronomical amounts to visit the park funds that.
Ford is playing Civilisation, MiB is playing CoD.In an earlier episode (8?), Bernard, and Theresa go through the cottage to the underground basement where they meet Ford, etc.
In ep 9, Dolores goes through the church to seemingly the same underground basement to talk to Bernarnold.
The church is buried in sand, in the middle of a desert, and we have seen the cottage in the present day, in the woods.
Am I missing something? How do they lead to the same place?

All episodes are on Now TV to 5 January I think.
I am planning to have a rewatch over Christmas.
