It's looking a bit Adult rather than grown up - not sure about it's mass appeal, but then it is from HBO...

I'm sure it was supposed to have been last October but Nolan and Abrams were busy.

The trailer looks great and gives me a few chills.

But I am wondering where the story will go...the film was perfect or near perfect. It was a very small story that mattered hugely to the protagonist. Contrasted with the slightly ridiculous and overblown and unoriginal sequel. I hope the quality of the set is reflected in the plot.

I think it must do.

It's just that the film was not a story that can be told over a series, or multiple series.
So it means it must be something quite different. I want it to have an overriding arc, but I hope it's nothing like Futureworld.
Ever seen Dollhouse?

I wonder if they will arrive on a giant hovercraft controlled by someone wearing mirrored aviator sunglasses?

And do we see the other worlds, Medieval and Roman too?

Yes, I watched dollhouse. Took a few episodes to get into it. Was getting really good when it got ended unfortunately.

I also loved Person of Interest so promising link there with Jonathan Nolan

The underlying incredibly sinister arc might be something where Westworld might head. I'm undecided on Dollhouse because I felt it was really rushed at the end.

It was, same as all the series that find out they've been cancelled and try and wrap it up in the episodes they have left but I was really enjoying it to that point
