Yeah what is going on with this? All the cinemas have showings for Wed/Thurs but then very little past that? Same for Odeon as well...

E.g. Westfield Vue has 15 Daily showings on Wed/Thurs with the extreme screens but then on Sat and Sun they only have 3 screenings a day and not in the extreme screens?!?!

Are they gauging demand this close to the weekend? Seems very strange.....
Odeon only list Friday-Thursday on the Wednesday lunch time prior. If they're expecting big demand they will add them to the 'Advance Dates' section though.
Yeah, i just booked Thursday 18th which was listed under the Advanced Dates section at the local Odeon IMAX.

A mate/colleague went to see it at lunchtime (we've a large cinema across the street from work). He LOVED it. He said he really did laugh aloud, a LOT.

I must go and see it tomorrow, whilst my wife & kids are still away!

Just watched it. It is incredibly funny, so many things to catch, and loads I didn't get. There are a lot of jokes that go way back, I was the only one laughing at several points. Though, there was probably only 20odd people in the auditorium.
The chat to camera was very good, and it has the best credit sequence I can recall.
Don't think I can fault it really.

5/7

Dammit, just started a thread, will delete. Here's what I wrote:

Just got back from watching.

I can't really play down my excitement at all to be honest - IT'S ABSOLUTELY F**KING BRILLIANT!!!!!

Genuinely one of the most entertaining films I've seen in many years. Successfully combines superhero/marvel movie with lots of gory violence and a lot, LOT of humour.

Many 'in-jokes', fourth wall break moments, so much going on it's just brilliant.

Love the fact that it successfully brings together all the Marvel universe, with the X-Men stuff and the big fight at the end being on a broken up Helicarrier.

Yeah, it's very clever. It'll need repeat viewings.
Finally a Fox Marvel film that works.

I've got tickets for Friday night... Now properly excited. It seems to be getting good reviews everywhere!

Apparently on the strength of the initial screenings and reviews a sequel has been given the green light already too.

Haha, saw it last night and the whole cinema was in fits of laughter.

Especially the T-Rex bit, had us crying with laughter.

Epic epic film, can't believe it took so much convincing for them to make it!!!!

Enjoyed it. Good laugh something a bit different. Not perfect but very good. Quite dark in places.

Worth watching

Because Hollywood are ballless load of s in suits...suited s.
Saw a funny meme this week referring to Deadpool, and about how it shouldn't be diluted and a kids version made...I hope this makes a bomb, and the x-man films bomb and studios wake the fk up.
