Ryan Reynolds was already Wade Wilson once as Weapon XI in the Xmen origins: Wolverine film - he was the one without the mouth - there was a line when he was getting cancer treatment when he said "don't stictch up my mouth, you wouldn't like me like that" (or something thereabouts). This was the toy character he was playing with early in the film too.
Yep I know this and spotted the nods to it in the film but I try to blank out the Origins film as much as possible as I thought it was terrible. 
Hopefully they'll make a better effort of Deadpool Vs Wolverine in a new one.

what about a guy with no healing powers only doesn't feel pain is somehow still fully functioning after being stabbed through with a sword after taking a huge beating. Being pain free does not stop you exsanguinating all over the floor. He also gets shot in the thigh hit by a container and stabbed through again after yet more beating. Plenty more to go on too like that woman's powers, she is strong so how does that stop her breaking bones or let her take punches from metal men? Just enjoy the ride and go with it. Take brain outPro

I don't think it was too bad that Ajax kept going, he'll obviously need some ibuprofen later, for the inflammation.
In marvel strength types usually have some sort of superior bone structure. I looked at the comic version, seems she's a tad different from that.

Yip. Typical suit eaction.Yep Ajax has undergone a similar process to Deadpool, everyone's powers manifest differently but he has enhanced strength, reflexes and feels no pain so it's not too much of a stretch to imagine he can recover quicker from wounds too.

Isn't that what's referred to as a 'secondary super power'. That's what they do to explain these things away. Otherwise it would be rubbish having super-strength if your bones shattered when you tried to lift a car. Or super-speed you couldn't use because of the air friction and impact on your joints. I think so. I often wish I could fly...but then the power of flight would be pretty useless without some sort of suit to keep out the cold, and an oxygen mask and other bits and pieces...

I seemed to be the only person laughing at a lot of the jokes though, cinema was full of teenagers (3pm showing) and I'm not sure they got a lot of it... ho hum.
