Sometimes Colossus has gotten 'stuck' in metal form.
Plus they've never bothered with an actor for him before...there are few on the ground in that bracket. I think this is the best version of Colossus we have seen.
He is briefly in some of the X-men movies in both forms, but only ever momentary shots where he's not really the main focus.
Indeed. He had a larger role in the time-travel one, but event hen it was pretty weak, with yet again full focus on Wolverine.

Anyone else all Marvelled out?
For an R rated Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie...Not in the slightest.

rest of Marvel, i will see how the phase 3 movies go, as i can see the bottom of the barrel after these ones to be honest.
As above, we have been crying out for a proper R Rated superhero film. Blade was the last and that was awesome, Deadpool is almost the perfect hero for a film quippy and funny and completely ruthless. Bring it on I say. Deadpool is by far my favourite comic character.
The original Blade is a modern classic IMO.

Dredd II clap

Yes it was low-budget but boy did it work. The soundtrack was bang-on too.

For me Lex should be the next Dredd (if its ever made)

Should I watch deadpool if I like Dredd and blade - I'm NOT a fan of the Avengers etc etc superheroes at all.

I'd say a definite yes, it's much more like Blade than it is the Avengers in tone although it has a quirky sense of humour that is unlike anything else in the Marvel films which most seem to have liked but some haven't.

Much as I liked Karl Urbans Dredd, it's not the same genre by a long shot.
Much more comedy than thriller.
(I didn't see Blade II - I'm going to assume along the same lines as the first)

Deadpool is a pisstaking wisecracking wedgie of the 'straight' marvel movies. It's main selling point is it's comedy - if you can go with that you'll enjoy it.

Blade is OK, and I'll probably watch it if it's on because I can't really recall details. Dredd (not Judge Dredd) I loved.
Dredd was rather like a modern Robocop. The humour came from the nihilistic performance of Dredd. Deadpool matches Dredd for gruesomeness and violence, but is a whole different style, it's certainly grown-up humour in a juvenile style. You may like it's full upfront ball-kicking violence.

Just seen this, epic it was, slots at no.1 of the 15 films seen this year, ahead of Bridge Of Spies. I'd recommend it to one and all, also a big thumbs up for VIP at Cineworld, nice free food, unlimited popcorn etc for the film and ridiculously comfy Laz-E-Boys.

45 minutes of two very loud Americans extolling the virtues of the film...

Warning: it's very sweary, and you may find these guys intolerable.

Me and Missus saw it this afternoon.
Despite the hype it was a very, very good film and I'd see it again.
A lot of very funny moments mixed in with the violence and bad language.
Despite being "another super hero film it felt very original.
I wouldn't recommend it to mum or my young kids, but for everyone else I wouldn't hesitate.

One of the best bits, even though I hadn't seen the reference before - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRJ38y4Jn6k

Saw deadpool last week. Absolutely tremendous film. Totally self-aware, massively funny and great action.

Seen it, loved it. 8/10

However it did feel overly cut, there are scenes in the trailer not in the film, this disappointed, however I was hoping there would be a directors cut but google says no frown

Watched all of the trailers (I think?) and didn't notice anything missing...
