I enjoyed it again.

I think you have to have seen all the previous this England stuff and be at least 35 years old to really gel with it.

Oh I hope so.

I'm really liking this.

But yes hopefully it's slow burn not a bit toss.

What the hell was the barbecue scene for other than to keep a few of the cast in jobs?

It's starting to get a bit dark now with the events of the past coming back to haunt the gang. Looking forward to next week. Loving the music and 90's feel to it. It's still not as good as the previous series.

My opinion, may be wrong....

I think it illustrated the split in the group in that they are at different stages in their lives. Some have kids and bills, some can still go out and do as they please. Why milky didn't go raving though? Having him at the house and showing how close he is to woody did make the call from combo a much more sinister prospect. It also set up the happy home idea, ready for it to be properly fekd up by everyone's favourite racist psychopath.

The only characters I'm not fully on board with are the stonewashed denim aviator dudes... I don't remember them from my youth, they seem a bit forced and rather incongruous.

Overall I'm enjoying it. It'd be much better done in one sitting though.

I've enjoyed it, but as mentioned above you need to be able to connect with the era and what the characters are doing.
I was a 90's teen to twenty, so the whole dope smoking, ecstasy taking indie and raving scene is exactly what I was doing at the time. The series is relating to, and bringing back some good memories.

Already mentioned, that caravan scene was hard watching, pretty obvious what was going to happen.

Disappointing... I'll still watch the finale just to see a close to the series

Lol left at 7am to pick up Combo.

"It's not that far" says woody

Her and Combo return when it's dark... that was certainly a long drive!

Also, I guess Milky is arranging gangland hits now, with his mother?!

All seems a bit lost and self indulgent. Used to draw you in but this is a bit like they made it for themselves. Will watch the final one but sadly disappointed. Reminiscence best left in the past....?

Well I'm thinking we are going to end up with 1 dead, possibly 2.
I think Kellys heroin addiction will take over and she will be found dead after an overdose,
Milky is looking like he wants revenge on Combo, could he go too far, or will Combo fight back and end up straight in the slammer?

I reckon milky will have a go at combo but something will go wrong and milky will end up seriously hurt. Combo will be innocent but will take the fall again to make up for beating nilky up previously.

As some of you have said the story is perhaps not as thought provoking as the earlier ones.

However the acting is excellent I think a few primetime soaps could learn a thing or two.

It is tempting to have a peek, but I'll hold on for Sunday.

I was thinking that as well Oakey.
Also curious why Shaun was invited to the meal - is he really that close to Lol that he needed to find out at the same time as her immediate family?
