Well I quiet enjoyed episode 5 and am looking forward to Ep6 now. The realisation in Ep5 should maybe have been episode 2-3 though.

It's became official in my mind-FTWD is garbage. The creators of the show of just got the majority of it wrong.

The family are just stupid and boring, I find the Hispanic barber and his family more interesting.

The pacing is off with loads of pointless dialogue to fill time.

Next week is the last episode too, really need to pull it back if there's to be a 3rd.

I'm not getting a huge sense of dread. The army seem to have been pretty effective maybe things fall apart after mass desertion?

The problem I have is there is no explanation once as to why any of this is happening. We don't even know if its just north and south America that has been infected or the world.

It's just 16 <one min episodes available during the break of the new series of TWD.

Sounds a bit WWZ movie-esk to me.

Okay, I've caught up episodes 3-5 ready for the finale and I'm very conflicted.

Loved the first two episodes, they got so much right but then the "9 days later" really pissed me off, firstly because it feels like a cop-put and secondly because where did 30million LA residents/LA zombies go?

You're telling me the cities deserted except for a few random walkers? After 9 days? Bullst. Where is everyone? The lack of zombies on the whole has been disappointing, I feel like we've skipped over the fall of society which what the show was supposed to be about.

On the flip side, I like the characters, (most of them) and I'm still holding out hope they are building towards a dramatic finale having clearly skimped the budget on the episodes 4 & 5!

Bring on the walkers!!

I'm not going to bother finishing the series, I haven't watched this week's and on the basis of feedback here I won't bother.

TWD proper is back in 12 days' time, FTWD should be shot in the head and left to rot.

You'll probably be okay missing a few in the middle and watching the final one. All you need to know really is that most of the military are assholes, stay away from stadiums and arenas and when you hear the word Colbalt, hopefully all hell will break loose.

I am holding out hope that they've saved a bit of budget for it and manage to follow through with a decent finish.

Wait what episode is the Britain on?

So I've just caught up on the first five episodes there. There have been some good bits but overall it's not been good. I mean it's taken five episodes to actually see some action with the fight at the library but they don't even show it. Why even have it? I'm watching this cause I want to see how the world fell apart, troops vs undead. Not Neighbours with a bit more fighting. From what we've seen, there's no reason for the army to fall back. There isn't a lot of zombies, they're acting like there are but where are they?

A couple in a library, one in a Dunkin'Donuts and a few in a neighbour doesn't really result a full military withdrawal does it?

I'd like to place a bet on these characters meeting the other characters many, many seasons down the line.

I'd only give it a 6/10, but thats still a higher rating than is deserved by any episode of FTWD.

It's just so frustrating - I was really hoping for some action last night when the soldiers went to back up their buddies, but all we got was some gunshots over the radio frown

They could've had it all go pearshaped, the radios go silent, the dad gets out to see what's happened despite the warning from the one soldier, he then gets chased by dozens of walkers and has to make his own way home..

It feels like we could come up with more exciting writing just sitting at our desks on a Monday morning than the actual writers have managed to frown

Ep6 best of the bunch. The other episodes should have been at that pace. Will I watch season 2? Maybe if Travis' Rick Grimes style rage is building it may be worthwhile.

Well stuff certainly happened in episode 6, but overall I am massively disappointed. Started with promise but logic and pacing soon went out the window. Also, did anyone notice how awful the CG was in that shot of the boat? Looked like something from a Playstation 2 game!

I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about. I mean I can understand the lack of zombies being that that's the premise of the show. But I actually rather liked the series and was kind of pissed off that it ended so soon. Also the little spin off the flight 462 is absolutely rubbish, its only 2 minutes long. What a way to get people to go the website.

To make a point on someone else's post, I do think that it would be kind of cool if the characters met up with the other characters from The Walking Dead.

SPOILER SORT OF

One thing that I did find very amusing was when they were leaving their neighborhood they didn't bother to close the gates. I thought that was kind of funny that just leave their neighbours open to zombie attacks.

Also, I like to the character in the suit. At first the name reminded me of the stage. I forgot his name though, but I kind of figured it out that abigail was the name of a boat. & I really dislike the mother / nurse and I'm glad that she's dead. I like how she says please don't let my husband do it it will break him, and then he comes over the crest and she just happens to tell him that she's bit, all very comical.
