Looseley based on the comic book character created by Neil Gaiman for The Sandman and its spin off comic book Lucifer written by Mike Carey is scheduled to premiere in 2016

Lucifer is bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and leaves for Los Angeles helping the LAPD

Tom Ellis cast as Lucifer Morningstar.
Director & executive producer - Len Wiseman(Underworld)

Trailer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4bF_quwNtw

Watched the Pilot last night, I sat waiting for more - absolutely hilarious (in a good way) biggrin

Google found me this - always a good sign to have a petition to stop something airing biggrin

Thought it was good, and the leads worked well.

Be interesting to see how it holds up as a series.

If it's based on the comic theres no way in hell they could mess it up.

Watched this yesterday. Very enjoyable, moments that made me smile and the confession from the bike cop made me laugh. I would do the same.

I liked that there was no attempt to hide his identity from the rest of the world, the "Hi i'm the devil, but all that bad stuff you did, you chose to do it!" attitude and i thought is was very well written.
Not sure about the idea he has found one person he can't manipulate but i am looking forward to the full series.

I watched it yesterday and enjoyed it. I reckon it has great promise. I love the candid way her talks to people - talking about being immortal and everyone just assuming he's lucky or something.

Intrigued already as to why the lady-cop is immune to his charms.

FOX in the US are starting this in Early February for a full season run. Pilot is still out there and it is very good. Wonder if the Shrink will still be about.

I don't see how it can last past a season (if it even gets that far) without being weak and silly..

Would have prefered it with a TV14/MA rating..

Will give it one more try before I decide if it goes exorcised or not!

Watched the first one on Prime tonight, and I liked it. As said already, it will be interesting to see why the police officer is immune.

well, way better than I expected...

Not sure how long it can run for, but very entertaining for now.

I'm afraid I didn't see what you guys did in this drivel.

Girl gets shot with him caught in the cross fire...He's the Devil, isn't he supposed to know when people are going to die?

Cheesy lines of dialogue flow from Lucifer every time he opens his mouth..."Okay, I will take you to poundland"

Officer is shot and Lucifer is at her hospital bedside when she wakes...I always assumed it family only on those occasions.

It's actually looking OK'ish... (just watched E2)

bit predictable, but certainly not taking itself seriously...

It's actually OK, bit of light hearted humour throughout brain-off easy viewing. It doesn't take itself seriously so why should we?
The wife loves it though, mainly because of Tom Ellis I expect (if a woman in your life sees episode 4 you'll understand why)

The Cheesy lines are part of the character. Women cannot resist him barring one. That explains how he gets to her bedside. Perhaps more interesting Why when the Detective shoots him does he get hurt??

I like it too, it is a bit cheesy and lowish budget in comparison to a lot, and the old detective bit is tired, but for some reason it is enjoyable to watch and quite interesting, definably refreshing.

Yes, I like it too. It doesn't take things too seriously, and things are moving on in the main arc outside the crime of the week part (can't call it murder of the week now, this one was the missing girl). Oh and the tongue on Mazikeen when she licked Amenadiel's face! lick

I'm enjoying it. An easy way to pass 40 minutes.
