Disgraceful verdict from the judges. No way KD should even be in the semi-final, let alone the final.

A re-run of the 'workout video' was always likely to be their undoing

Wow, never saw that coming. However, as I said last night, and despite expecting her to go through, it would have been nice if Anita had had a bit of dance content in there instead of just being a cheerleader routine (albeit a rather complicated one!).

Is it a no brainer that Katie should go ?

Not that I want her to.

There you go...no brainer.

Anyone who accuses me of using a brain are very wrong.

It was the right two in the dance off and *based on that* it was only fair that Anita lost out.

Katie actually improved in the dance-off, fixed her faults and was rather graceful and enjoyable to watch.

In contrast Anitas dance was messy, hevtic, had crap music and barely had any salsa and if anything she was even worse doing it 2nd time around than first.

Absolutely the correct decision from the judged. Good finalists but just a shame Helen isn't there instead of Katie really.

I must say that I was fully expecting Katie to go but her dance was so much better than before and Anita's seemed all a bit of a muddle by comparison.

I have to agree. Plus Katie's dance suited her better than Anita's did her, so she stood a better chance than otherwise. And she did improve in the dance-off and that's what the Judges look for as we have discussed many times before already.

Katie improved and was definately worthy of going through. I have liked Gleb!s choreography this series but Anita was a bit untidy in parts of the dance off tonight.

Tony Beak must have photos of Len pickling his walnuts or something.

Katie has just delayed her departure slightly. She is by far the weakest dancer left and will be first to be eliminated next week.

Think it was right that she won the dance off though. That salsa was a dog's dinner of a dance.

I think KD still looks like she's struggling to remember the next move, with Anton having to 'force' her all over the floor. She looked like a rag doll last night.

Anita has been tight all series and was probably let down last night by the cheer leader music, which Len was never going to like. It's a shame she missed out on the final just because of that, particularly when she's been consistently better than Katie.

Even Katie herself couldn't believe the verdict.

Absolutely right decision on the night (as opposed to the fix that was Jamelia's departure).

Of course, it makes little difference really, whoever didn't go out last night (of those two) was certain to be first to go in the final, so it was fine that the judges picked out the dancer who performed best in the dance-off and only the biased would say it was Anita (My wife doesn't like Katie Derham and has been rooting for Anita, but said that Anita deserved to go on the night as she was worse and Katie was better than in the first dances).

I got the feeling Anita had given up once she was in the dance off, saying (more or less) "Well, if I'm going, I might as well have fun".

There's a strong tradition of misjudged routines being the demise of a fancied contestant and Anita and Gleb's fell right into that!

Anita has been amazing considering she has no dance experience, I have been impressed throughout. However it has been pointed out a few times over the series that she wasn't 'dancey' enough in some of her routines (poss professionals fault but I guess they try and choreograph to hide the weaknesses). It is ashame she has gone but I'm not as shocked as some seem to be.

I can't believe the favouritism on show this weekend.

The judges made very little mention of the (multiple) mistakes that Jay made during his dances.

Anita has been undermarked all season and has had some harsh comments when she is better (IMO) than others who seem to get off lightly from the judges.

Whilst I agree that Katie deserved to go through on the dance off performances, I cannot help but think maybe Gleb should shoulder a lot of the blame as it's his choreography and it's not the first time the Judges have had issue with the actual amount of dance content. Do you think it's because it's his first season in UK Strictly and he is still finding his feet in terms of what the judges like?

Should be a cracking final!

the issue last night was katie got it right when it mattered and even though Anita showed more confidence Glebs' contemporary style as a turn off for the judges at times.

katie was woefully undermarked by craig initially too with a 4. i think georgia got away with two very average performances, her cha-cha had little cha cha content and her viennese was by the numbers imho.

perhaps if Anita had chosen a different dance off dance it might have changed it...

overall though the best three have made it and i'd like to see kellie win it although i expect it will be jay or georgia...

Perhaps some truth in this but she looked utterly lovely doing it so I forgave her instantly...

Likewise !! - quite a lovely young lady. More please.....

I'm still hoping that Georgia wins the final but Jay could make it if the music and choreography are good.

Helen is not classy. Stuck up maybe but she's from bloody Birmingham. Her dancing was just not that good.

Katie was worse though.
