All depends whether Jay can reproduce that jive without any mistakes, he can't really improve on it. I can see that going wrong and Georgia's charleston winning it.
I read somewhere that they were not going to do the jive again and it was to just remain a memorable dance. we will see on Saturday.

Would be quite happy with Anton on the judging panel. He's got personality, obviously experience and is generally likeable.

Len is getting grumpier, more irrational and a bit long in the tooth - not a bad time to bow out.

Anyway, Katie will obviously go out first and then I'd be happy if any of the last three win, they've all got a lot of positive attributes and are all pretty solid dancers. Will just come down to who does it best on the night. My money is probably on Georgia if I had to bet.

Oof, playing the percentages! that's a bit bold, maybe even arrogant. Most likely they don't think they can nail it again. Georgia's charleston eclipses anything else he's done, imo.
Perhaps he'll go for the dance that gave him the highest marks instead?

Rumour is Anton is retiring after the series and will replace Len. Guest judge each week to make 5 judges picked from the previous entrants
So I understand

A quick Google of "Darren Gough strictly" returned a low res version of his show dance from the final as the first result. He'd have stayed in longer than JV this year, but not much longer!

The first few series were a lot shorter though iirc, so not a surprise that early winners don't show the same level of skill as more recent ones. DG is a shocker though!

Agree Jay's lift disaster was overlooked but the rest of the dance was amazing.
I don't think it was.

Craig joked about him dropping Aliona.
Darcy and Len also commented on it.
Bruno said that he thought it was deliberate eek

His score was 9, 9, 9 and 10 from Bruno.

I think it was a 40 without the drop.

Gleb was let down by being a foreign newcomer. He thought that the judges would be looking for entertainment and a great show with some technique thrown in.

Kevin let one of his cats out of the bag during ITT when he said that he always likes to include some steps that he knows Len will like. He knows that the judges are looking for good technique with a good show thrown in.

Loved the opening dance. So much fun and nice to see cameos from all contestants.

Anyone notice that in the opening credits, the 4 in the Final tonight are the last 4 in the sequence. Oooh spooky contiguousness. LOL, not really - total happenstance.

It's a testament to the standard of dancing this year that straight 9's feels like a low score.

I'd forgotten how amazing Georgia's Bond dress was.

Dance was cool too. And Craig seemed positive about it too.

I really do not know who will win it. I think the only thing I can predict is it won't be Katie, sadly for Anton.

I really loved Kellie and Kevin's dance just now. So entertaining.

Edit: And, fk me, so did the judges
