It's been on regular TV a few times recently - maybe Film 4.

Loopers on Amazon Prime. A time travel film (with Bruce Willis), and anything with time travel in it gets my attention.

Good fun, still trying to work out one part of it which I didn't quite understand, so might re-watch. A solid 7.5/10.
Have you seen Source Code? I preferred it to Loopers.
Nope. Never heard of it. Is that on Amazon? I'll have a butchers, thanks.
Check out Primer while you're at it.

Is the 12 Angry Men part of that as simple as I think it is?

I think so.
They are all in the same room the whole film.
I think that's the point. smile

Watched 'Bridge of Spies' again today. A solid 8/10

Best bit by a mile though is "Would it help?"

Gotta' remember that next time I get a huge tax bill.

Bone tomahawke

Watchable once you get passed the strange way they are all talking slowly and deliberately.

Mixture of a few films rolled into one set in the west. Hills have eyes meets the searchers

Think I enjoyed it, not sure 6.5/10 no I sort of enjoyed it. Sort of.

Having been off ill i've munched through the following in this order:-

Django Unchained
The Hateful Eight
Bone Tomberhawk
No country for old men

Loved both of the Tarintino films, Django taken with a large pinch of salt and the Hateful Eight was Resevoir Dogs set in the wild west, enjoyable all the same.

Bone Tomerhawk disappointed, quite possibly because it followed two Tarentino films, but it felt like it would 'get going' but never really did, very slow paced. And the cave dwellers could / should have been bad ass indians rather than a cross between predator and something out of Mad Max.

No country for old men was very good, although wasn't quite sure what Tommy L Jones's dreams were about, but I was several G&T's down by the ending.

Watched "bad moms" and was pleasantly surprised. A little soppy in places (kinda to expected) but overall a fun film
I disagree. I was actually quite angry once it had finished with the all girls are great all guys are aholes generalisation.

More feminist clap trap.

Primer is an absolutely fantastic film. Made on a budget of $7500!! I watched it, thought I understood it, watched it again, realised I didnt, went on interweb to find an explanation of it, watched it again, and again.

If anyone hasn't seen it, do so. It is quite possibly the best time travel film ever made. There is 0% fat in Primer, it's all story or character and doesn't assume the viewer is an idiot.

To help you get into the mindset required to watch it, warm up with Predestination first.wobblelaugh
