True Romance.

I hadn’t seen it for 20 years, but blimey it’s brilliant on so many levels.

The Slater v Oldman, Hopper v Walken and Gandolfini v Arquette scenes are just a few of the many superbly captivating moments, all carried along by the immersive score from Hans Zimmer.

In fact I just might watch it again this weekend.

A solid 8.5/10
Hmm, maybe even a 9...

The chat between legends, Walken and Hopper is one of the best things Tarantino has done.

yes even when you know where the chat is going, it's immensely captivating.

Ultimately, the very well executed chemistry of the protagonists’ unconditional love glues all those scenes together.

Tony Scott directed it, QT 'just' wrote the script.

Just watched Avengers: Age of Ultron for the second time. I love a good super hero film and Ultron is such a cool bad guy.
He reminded me of Ratchet from Robots.

Captain America: Civil War... another smash from Marvel. As an aside it does seem that Disney has done a couple of outstanding bits of business in acquiring both Star Wars and Marvel

A mate on fb has just written a review, he has made it sound really good. People are saying this is the best one, and I like what Chris Evans has said in interviews too.
I'm watching it on MOnday which seems years away right now...

Yeah, can we also have a thread for all of those poncey foreign films with subtitles? And can we put Scotch films in there, too?
