You can't say all that then post a broken link. We need to know what you're talking about so we can form an informed view for our selves.crossy67 said:

Watched "Haywire" last night - recorded some time ago. Not impressed, loads of big names but not much of a story and too many flashbacks and scenes shot in half darkness for my liking. Chase sequences go on a bit too long, too. Pity, as it looked promising at the start.
I thought it was excellent.London Has Fallen - I rather enjoyed Olympus Has Fallen for what it was, but this was just dire. Although the first film was implausible, you can buy a surprise attack taking over a single building, but this time it expects you to believe the baddies have somehow infiltrated half the Met and Coldstream Guards without anyone noticing. If you're trapped in a building it makes sense that there's a good chance of being discovered, thus building tension, but in an entire city there's no reason why you couldn't just hide in someone's house until it was all over. The CGI is properly rubbish, something that's very unusual in a mainstream film these days, and in several shots you can see plenty of people casually making their way to work despite half the city just being blown up.

I posted from my phone, do over, due over, either way great film. Just for balance, the above two probably have a copy of 2001:Space Odyssey wrapped in protective film and consider it a 11/10 film!
Look, Do-over was a fun slapstick type humour film, you either like Sandler or you don't, I do but then I don't like 2001 (biggest PoS I've watched).
sorry, wasn't having a pop at you directly, AS just has a gag reflex on me.Look, Do-over was a fun slapstick type humour film, you either like Sandler or you don't, I do but then I don't like 2001 (biggest PoS I've watched).
For context I found 2001 to be a film for critics and other film makers to enjoy, and Despicable Me is one of my top 10 of last 5 years so hardly a movie snob!
Back on track, just watched another Adam Sandler film for some yet again great light entertainment. The Cobbler, certainly a 7/10 as its worth a watch to anyone that fancies a nice story, bit of comedy and a simple plot.
Very nice little film

Careful, we're not allowed to enjoy low brow entertaining films in ere sonny
Me and the missus watched Brothers Grimsby on Sunday. Quite possibly one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Takes low brow and decides thats too serious.Followed that with Cloverfield Lane. Which was definitely not what I expected at all - absolutley brilliant. Ending was a bit of a surprise.
