Ghostbusters (2016)

Not a masterpiece, but not too bad in all honesty. I quite enjoyed it and have seen way worse films be more highly rated.

Reacher never go back.

I loved the first one. This didn't have the same style or pacing. Pretty familiar story line, On the run from the law and the bad guys. Nothing earth shattering added the obligatory hard as nails stick thin woman able to kill armed heavily trained mercenaries from elite units. Because well just because.

In the first film there was a scene where reacher was unarmed against a guy with a full auto assault rifle. It was a good scene. So they decided to add around 50 good guys take on, disarm and kill armed bad guy scenes because well why not.

Changed the movie to brain out action. Too many that wouldn't happen scenes too.

Dissapointing 4/10

Watched some pretty good films recently but today I watched
A film by accident and wow!!

People use the term "brain out movie" a lot

There's a level below that.

I'm watching Flight:WW2........

It's incredibly bad

Fantastic Beasts... a wonderfully crafted family film with some stunning effects (particularly liked the 'speakeasy' scene) shows that the Potterverse is still capable of churning out box-office magic
Just back from watching with the whole family.

Bloody marvellous in every respect. Loved it.

Better, I would have said, than several of the HP series.

I'm always up for a good western, but tonight we had 'Valdez is Coming' on movies for men.
A great film, seen it before, read the book ( its an Elmore Leonard tale ) and well worth watching again.
When Burt Lancaster gets angry, back from hunting Apaches and he has a Sharpe's shooting his own charge over 1000 yards, you know he means business with a high body count.
Its bound to come on again - don't miss it if you get the chance 9/10
....oh and make sure Bob Valdez gets his 100 dollars !

Is it as 'good' as American Warships?

No idea haven't seen it which is probably a good thing I take it.

Problem was yesterday we had a day in and we're
Playing with new fire stick and managed to watch three movies.....
... all bad!

My fault was that flight Ww2 rubbish. My wife then chose Bridget jones baby.
Rubbish. But then my 8 year old wanted a war movie. I suggested
The fantastic Kajaki or maybe 13 hours, a decent film. No. he picked
The last rescue. My god. I watched the flight WW2 to the end to see
How bad it could be, couldn't even get to the end of this. Utter bilge, some people
Like finding plot holes and historical goofs, they'd overload on this ste

Might have to watch Kajaki and Free state of Jones again today to restore my faith

'Time Crimes' and '41'.....two very engrossing and mind bending Time Travel movies. 41 is on youtube as a full screen HD movie and is well worth a look.

The Revenant - 7/10

Really good visuals and acting, pretty traumatic in places. Somehow just felt like something was missing, not sure what.

Fantastic beasts, felt like a cracking dr who movie. Swap his magic wand for a sonic screwdriver and I couldn't have told the difference.
