SULLY
I really like Tom Hanks so I'm biased to say it was good. It was good though and I really enjoyed it.
Same, saw this at the weekend. My wife and I loved it. 9/10.
It is a fantastic film.

Not too hollywoodised either.

The ending was the most disappointing part. They turned Sienna into just a clever follower and lover of Zorbrist and didn't touch on what Zorbrist actually aimed to do, instead leaving it as a plague.

Cop out as far as I'm concerned so they can do more movies in that 'universe' without any need to include this in it.
Exactly. Everything was fine, bearing in my mind the restrictions put in place when making a film from a book. But then to completely ruin the ending like that, turning Sienna into a Martyr and excluding that speedboat scene from the book, was pathetic.

thumbup Thanks for that - looks excellent. Just watched the first 15 mins as it takes a bit of concentration, so I'll give it my full attention later when I'm not supposed to be working!

Sweet! One of the best spy films there is!

Doc Strange. Better than I thought, and slightly different to the regular Marvel stuff. Happy to see how the 'magic' was inserted too. Called it.

Cheers for the suggestion!

The Intouchables

French film about bloke from the wrong side of town helping out a disabled bloke from very much the right side of town. Based on a true story with some good Maserati action.

Definite feel of Rain Man about it. Liked it. 7.5/10

The Rewrite

Oh.
God.
Why.

I had to watch something while waiting for Ocado.
It was on Film 4.

No excuse.
Watching the wall would have been a better use of time.

After watching TGT on Prime I went browsing the films and spotted The Sweeny Paris and just had to see how bad it was.

Jean Reno as the main star with a fully French cast and subtitles. It's not going to win any Oscars but it was a lot better than the recent UK film, not hard I know.

Solid 6.438/10

Just watched Louis Theroux's Scientology Movie - very informative.. I don't know how he manages to keep his face straight most of the time.
