Minions. For £10 and 100 extra Tesco clubcard points, why the hell not?

One of the best scenes - the Queen is deposed by King Bob and ends up in a pub, propping up the bar and buying rounds for everybody.

It's tough to do! And fairly impossible in the second, where it just seems to be Aslan acting like a and playing headgames with children.
It's such a shame that they didn't do a better job of the Northern Lights film, would have been a great antidote.

[REC]

Spanish film about a TV presenter and her crew who are shadowing a firefighting team, they get called out to a disturbance and find some bizarre happenings - don't want to say too much for fear of spoilers.

Shot trough the TV crew's lens in a 'Blair Witch' style, I thought it was a really good modern horror film that's something s bit different to most of the genre.

8/10

Yes, its good. Dont bother with 2 & 3 though - ive seen them, and if i remember correctly, 2 is generally pointless, and 3 ventures into the realms of horror comedy, being set at a wedding...

If you are talking about the "his dark materials" trilogy. There may be some good news on that. The BBC are currently adapting it.

I thought 2 was excellent. The cover of 3 was enough for me to not bother!

Ah, i see on IMDB there was a 4th film, released last year. It gets a similarly bad score as #3...

The Jackal, a remake...oh dear...not good.

How did they convince Poitier and Gere to do this??? Gere's accent...oh my....

No Country for Old Men...I've watched this three times now and I still can't love it. I like it for certain elements but I feel really let down by the denoument...

it might as well have been called "random stuff happens" and that would sum it.

A blistering performance from Bardem can't elevate it either beyond 6/10

glad I'm not alone in not getting the love for this film. Sure the acting is good but but but

I watch The Man Who Wasn't There (2001) over the weekend. It's a Coen Bros movie, in black and white, starring Billy Bob Thornton and (of course, being a Coen Bros movie), Frances McDormand:

On the whole, I enjoyed it, perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon, and if you like the Coen brothers, you will more than likely appreciate it. gets a little too weird in places though..

One of my favourite films but my girlfriend was bored stupid. I love the ending in the way it's deliberately unsatisfying :-)

I've seen this and the American remake 'Quarantine'. Both good films, not sure which I prefer actually.

Coherence - Blew my face off / 10

Just browsing Amazon TV tonight and noticed this for 99p with very solid IMDB rating. Don't really want to say much but it made me feel unbelievably uneasy.

Very 'Primer-ish', i.e ultra low budget mind bender.

Steve jobs - didn't enjoy it. Felt like I was watching a middle part of a film without the start and end.
