You've reminded me I only got half way through the last season as I lost interest. Not something I would ever envisage happening have loved the Escobar ones so much. I take it I'm alone in this and missing out?

It's not as epic as the 2 "pablo" seasons, but it's still good telly. Bleak end I seem to remember.

I've only 1 episode left to watch of the latest series. It's been very good, fantastic in fact.

It's a bit slower that the previous ones, but the story is still staggering.

Enjoyed the new series. Plenty more mileage to get future series done too.

I’m struggling with this one a bit to be honest. It’s a bit slow and choppy

Watched Narcos Mexico season 1, my god it’s violent and it’s missing it’s central villain but it’s building up nicely for El Chapo to take centre stage.

Don Neto was my fav character, conflicted, angry, dispondent, womaniser, party animal.

I'm halfway through season 2. Still very much enjoying it but overall Felix is a bit too angsty. Even through he's ruthless and ambitious he doesn't have the charm and humour of Pablo or the dead-eyed chill of Pacho Herrera. He's like a regional sales manager who's been over-promoted.

Plenty of enjoyable characters though. Isabella and her twins are always worth screen time and Chapo comes across as a likeable scamp. Acosta's story is an enjoyable sub-plot too.

I will avoid spoilers, but if you haven’t already, I urge anybody who has watched Narcos Mexico to also seek out ‘The Last Narco’ on Prime.

It’s staggering. My jaw is still on the floor.

I’ll avoid saying anything else.

Pedantic possibly, so apologies, but from a quick search on Prime do you mean "The Last Narc" (no 'o' on the end? Thoroughly enjoyed all of the Narcos series', just want to be sure I have the right one.

Yes, you're right - Narc. A single o makes a world of difference (or arguably, not?):

Ideal. This is one of the only shows I can watch with a lot of subtitles and still follow. So glad they didn't dubb it.

I am up to E3 and so far it's pretty good. As I suspected El Chapo features more though I am intrigued about the bent politician/businessman.

Up to E7, superb TV again

As usual its the parallel storylines and how they intertwine that makes it so good - the cartels, the bent politicians, La Vox and the copper investigating the murders
