Saw they had 'Prison Break' and finally got around to watching it (have been meaning to catch up with the show for years as I missed it when it was first on TV).

After having binged the first few episodes I can see why it was so popular at the time, it's really good and holds up well even nearly a decade later. Though I hear it goes downhill fast after the first couple of seasons.
It did 'go downhill', but I still couldn't stop watching it!

Anyone else watching Braindead? Rather good fun, although it will annoy you if you don't like "You may think" by the Cars! smile
Yes as you say it's good fun.

I had thought that the main actress was the same as in The Blacklist but turns out she just looks similar and was in that Scott Pilgrim film that no-one watched.

Having had prime for a bit, started thinking its slim pickings so haven't touched it for a while. Gone back in and am enjoying "preacher". A few episodes in but enjoying it so far.

I tend to find it's a bit crap if you're expecting Hollywood blockbusters, but there are some really good TV series in there.

It's a shame that they do not allow you to download the film/series that you buy, like you can with CD's and vinyl. or like SKY, buy the movie and the DVD is delivered when released.

But as KP said above they don't tend to do new films.

The free to view stuff you can download to your phone.

You can download on the app for offline viewing but you have to watch the download through the app. Wish Netflix did this as well as I'm watching Suits at the moment but have run out of Tethering on my tablet.

It's slow, diverts from the comic series a bit, but is really good. I'm enjoying it loads.

Amazon pilot season is starting

Watched the tick yesterday, I might have to re watch the cartoons but my fuzzy recollection of it seems that its spot on.

This is how the man in the high castle and others got made, so well worth looking and voting

The tick was good, as was Jean Claude van Johnson. I thought that it played well with some of the '80s/'90s action movie tropes and should be able to play off quite a few more if the script writers stay sharp. Certainly injecting sections of whatever ludicrous straight to VOD action movie would keep the comedy level up

Watched The Tick, liked it and voted for it. Haven't watched the other two yet.

Lucifer season 2 is coming soon.

I watched No Escape with Owen Wilson and Pierce Brosnan. It's the only Owen Wilson film I've seen where he plays it straight. It's a very tense film and I was almost wanting it over so I could relax. Well worth a watch though.

Started to watch I love Dick. Wow, how annoying! Turned off after 5 mins. Couldn't get through much more on The Tick either. Will give JCVJ a go this week perhaps.

I hope S2 of Lucifer stays the ridiculously shallow fun S1 was. biggrin
