Citizen Soldiers. A feature length documentary about National Guard soldiers posted to Afghanistan. Some pretty powerful stuff in there

I cant get into Bosch at all, I've tried I think its the actor, I just find him intensely unbelievable for the part and annoying.
Having read most of the books I think he gets Bosch spot on.
But, if you don't like it you don't like it.
I did though.
I really liked Bosch as a character. Jazz enthusiast, very calm, rarely rattled, loyal to his collagues, casual dislike for the people at the top of the command chain.

Watched the first Mad Dogs last night. It wasn't bad, but equally I didn't love it - certainly not enough to watch the second one straight away. Will watch a bit more over the weekend and see if it grows on me.

Watched Man Up last night - didn't expect to watch the entire film (Simon Pegg comedy is usually a little obvious) and only really planned to kill half an hour before I went to bed.
But I really enjoyed it - one of the funniest films I've seen in a while and I thought it was very good.

Just watched "The Wave" - Scandi film based on the premise of a huge rockfall causing a tsunami - apparently a situation they are facing. Very well done, building up the tension really well. A cheesy ending but it doesn't detract from a good film.

He's magnificent, isn't he. If you haven't seen it, watch Fargo.

Not usually my sort of programme but I'm really enjoying Red Oaks. Not much of a storyline but very watchable and some nice reminders of the 80's. The leading ladies are rather lovely too.

Flight of the Concordes is certainly worth a look if you didn't see it first time around. All the old episodes on Prime.

I've just binged the full season of Sneaky Pete, I watched the pilot but didn't know they were even filming more, brilliant, best thing I've seen on there yet.

I was tempted by this at the weekend, but decided to wait for another day. I did really like the pilot, so looking forward to it.

Glad you mentioned that, I put it on my watchlist and viewed it last night, interesting watch. Certainly highlights the terrain that is fought over. Hairy stuff.
