A couple I caught on Prime recently that I quite enjoyed:

Deadfall - A thriller that follows two siblings who decide to fend for themselves in the wake of a botched casino heist, and their unlikely reunion during another family's Thanksgiving celebration.

A Single Man An English professor, one year after the sudden death of his boyfriend, is unable to cope with his typical days in 1960s Los Angeles.

I know exactly what you mean, only watched 3 episodes so far, but we need something to watch for a while after supper and it's that or find something else.

Nice find. Smart TV interface is useless.

its a list of all the films for the different packages (iTunes, Netflix, prime, etc).

Search through them, then read reviews, click on them to view, etc.

Makes it easier if you want to find something by different choices.

Completely given up with Hand of God, it's not a bit st, it's utter wk.

Wyrmwood an Australian take on the zombie genre, doesn't take itself very seriously, made me laugh out loud, in fact I thoughroughly enjoyed it.

Interesting how tastes can vary so much. I've decided I like it .

I start from the premise that everything on TV is basically nonsense, so for me quite often it's not about the believability so much as other factors which aren't so easy to define.

I tried, watched 7 and a half episodes, and turned off with a rant. There wasn't a single character that was likeable, the god bothery-ness wound me up and the dressing gown episode annoyed me.
Sons of Anarchy was very similar but I binge watched that in a few weeks.
There's no accounting for taste I suppose.

Funny that, I didn't make it through the first episode of Sons of Anarchy.

Sons of Anarchy. I'd just been reading Hells Angels and other Hunter Thompson stuff when the first series started - and thought SoA was just st.

The following. Don't normally do detective/Police type programmes. But this series is excellent. Second series has just become free to watch and it's as good as the first.

Watched The Man in the High Castle last night, can't believe we've got to the point where something that good is on a relatively niche streaming platform, loved it.

The Kings of Summer is a great film if you're into coming of age stories, quirky/funny and beautifully shot.

Loved 'The Man in the High Castle' and look forward to new episodes. Also hope 'Sneaky Pete' makes it to a series. Find myself more on Amazon Prime than Netflix now so may pull the plug on it before the end of the month.
