There's some really good stuff on prime currently, I seem to be using it more than sky or Netflix.

Nearly finished season 2 of the Man in the High Castle, watching GT as it comes out. Louis Theroux scientology movie was good.

Up next either Goalith or sneaky pete haven't decided yet.

A word of warning regarding Goliath. I started to watch this one Saturday evening, and ended up watching the whole lot, going to bed at around 5am Sunday morning! hehe

I don't think it's bad at all. I didn't think I'd like it, as the synopsis seemed silly, but somehow, it works. Decent production values, acting, plot's not too bad, and it doesn't take itself too seriously.

When you mention 'So bad you just have to watch', I think of stuff like Crossroads. We find Lucifer seriously good fun (Like Netflix's iZombie...)

I thougth Startup seemed to run out of puff a bit towards the end. Almost like they were trying to find drama to fill the last few episodes and were totlaly over-egging it. Enjoyed it, but not sure about watching the second series.

Will have a look at Goliath.

I gave up on Startup during the second episode. I think it tried to be way too 'edgy' in a forced way and for me, it just fell flat.

Loved Goliath, though.

I enjoyed Halt and Catch Fire (HCF for those in the know!)

Three seasons on Amazon so far.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2543312/

"Set in the 1980s, this series dramatizes the personal computing boom through the eyes of a visionary, an engineer and a prodigy whose innovations directly confront the corporate behemoths of the time."

It was hard work getting through the first episodes. Did improve in later ones.

Watched the first episode of Patriot and enjoyed it so I waited for ep2 to automatically follow. I'm still waiting.

Watched the pilot of Sneaky Pete last night. Think I'll push on and see how it evolves.

Watched the first Mad Dogs last night. It wasn't bad, but equally I didn't love it - certainly not enough to watch the second one straight away. Will watch a bit more over the weekend and see if it grows on me.
It was dropped after the first season, so don't bother if you don't like to be kept hanging...forever!

Sneaky Pete is excellent, and the story develops very nicely over the 10 episodes. Bryan Cranston is menacingly good.

Also watched Black Sails recently - most enjoyable series. An x-rated Pirates of the Caribbean, with some excellent acting by the main players.

I'm 5 episodes in.
My biggest complaint is that none of the characters are likeable.
