Not sure if it's been mentioned already but just begun watching Start Up with Martin Freeman. Interesting mix of gang war, dodgy FBI agents and entrepreneurs.
It's good, but a bit thin towards the end. Not sure what second series is like...

The Patriot.
Is he a spy or is he a poet/singer.

I'm not sure about this one. It's a bit odd but it's kept me amused for 3 episodes so far.

Very, very violent in an almost casual way.

The other computer show, Halt and catch fire, is much better I think.
Halt and Catch Fire is really good.

All 3 seasons so far are on there and it's absolutely worth a watch. Great stuff about the creation of 1980's laptops, PC's, Software and the sudden realisation that the internet could be massive.

Yeh, although it's good because of the focus on the people, the subject is just to hang a (really well written!) soap opera on. I'm around ep4/5 in 2nd series and I hate all of the characters except one... But that's changed in past episodes and assume will again. Top, top show.

As yet there isn't a second series planned from what I can see on IMDB. I hope there is as there were lots of unanswered questions to warrant one. Overall I enjoyed it and would give it 7.5/10.
ETA it is being renewed.

Can't wait for that.

The first 4 seasons had me on the edge of my seat the whole time!

This thread has got me thinking about how bizarre The Grand Tour thread is. It's full of people who are furious about the fact they 'wasted' £59 signing up to Amazon prime to watch TGT.

The fact of the matter is that Prime is stuffed with hundreds and hundreds of hours of great TV and movies that I certainly wouldn't have got to watch without signing up, that in my opinion are worth well more than the £59 I paid.

I tried to suggest in the TGT thread that it was only £59 and there was plenty of other stuff to watch if TGT wasn't to their liking but apparently my view wasn't popular smile

I agree, I have loved watching Vikings, Lucifer, Black Sails, and loads more (included is free music, too). Plus, of course, the amount of shipping costs I have saved when ordering stuff from Amazon.

Half the people in that thread could start an argument in an empty room.

It actually saves me money where I live as I have to get almost everything delivered. The TV progs are a free extra.

I usually try to pick a second-rate series to watch when I'm on my own, as I keep anything known to be good for when my wife and I are both watching together.

My pick of the second-rate stuff so far is "Last Man On Earth". Good for a laugh.

Still watching Black Sails every Monday as it's the final series, have also just started Outlander which after two episodes seems pretty good.

Only just signed up to prime so not read the whole thread but idly flicking through I gave Flesh and Bone a go.

It sounds ste. it's about a ballet company in new York. I have no great affection for ballet.

Anyway, it's really good.

Proper bhy girls (and boys). Lap dancing, violence and nudity.

7/10 so far
