My wife told me about this and I thought she was joking!

I could imagine all these secret service agents creeping through the wilderness on body guard duty with theornhearts in their mouths as Bear has him abseiling off some cliff edge!

Me too, I imagine if they've announced it, it already happened. Really hoping Bear got him on some utterly insane tyrolean traverse with Obama crying like a girl

Now just to be serious for a moment - when Bear took Miranda Hart out for a jolly my opinion of her changed dramatically and I was left with nothing but respect for the lady.

I'm really hoping that Obama's publicity crew have got this one right, and although he is very late into his presidency I really hope he is tested.

Next episode has got to be Putin showing Bear Grylls how it is done surely??? No???

If I were an American citizen, I would be extremely unimpressed with this. How about you do your job as President rather than fannying about on the side of a mountain, pretending to 'survive'?
This sort of endeavour should be left until after he has left office.......

Filming this week by all accounts.

Bear was still at home on his island off Abersoch at the weekend, drinking Tequila in the local Mexican on Saturday night, messing about on his boat on Sunday and apparently flying out to Alaska on Monday.

Word has it that he's a bit of a diva, which is a shame.

Also, BG has tweeted a selfie of him and BO saying "it was a pleasure" etc so its obviously done and dusted and its only Weds morning. Must have only had him for a few hours at most, be interesting to see how they spin that out when it airs.
