Watched this on Netflix last night
A simple yet harrowing and hard hitting film about a young boy who becomes a child soldier for a rebel army in Africa, even though the location is never revealed and it doesn't claim to be based on a true story like many other war films the acting and pace of the film is gripping. Good to see something different to the usual Iraq,Afghanistan or WW2 based war films even if the subject of child soldiers sickens many
Head and shoulders above most other films in this genre, in with a chance for film of the year
8/10
