Agree with Gary - gotta be a minimum of £400k. Already into contingency before even starting!

Also, no mention of how they're going to lift materials into place - looked like some decent sized steels, plus things like joists at 40' up, all constrained by trunks, canopy, access...

How do they not run out of money whilst there is nothing going on? I missed what they did as a job.

It took three structural engineers to think of a diagonal brace?

In balance, man designs own crane. Clever machine.

Amazing what you can save using your friends.

Good luck to him - he'll do this for around £100k less than any outsider would manage.

Agree about that mini track - a great bit of kit!

I think it's from this company. No mention of the one shown though.

Didn't the operator say it was his own design?

A farmer near us has a tracked tractor, trouble is when he turns corners it chews up Tarmac, probably weighs a fair bit more than the one on GD though.

It looks like the nine months estimated build has gone out of the window (and they are not even in yet).

Wish they could leave a time lapse camera to show progress rather than just turning up every three months.

It had moorend branding all over it. Was just a guess though and they do make tracked vehicles...

May also be this as the contact mobile number is the same: http://www.norcar.co.uk/four-track/4589489471

I do like the spray insulation, usually seen on American shows rather than over here. Just looks so much quicker than cutting boards to fit.

Having a plumber owing you a favour must be worth its weight in gold.
