Personally, I'm rather sad Selina has gone. This is purely down to the animalistic feelings of abject lust that she brings out in me whenever I see her on the television. Absolute little sauce bucket, that one.

That really, really got on my tits. I am too big to wear PPE whilst on site, wtf are you saying. I am bigger than the safety of my staff and myself. Pathetic.
Claude and Karren both donned the protective kit when they actually went inside, so presumably it wasn't that necessary on the platform for the intro.
I must stop checking my phone whilst watching stuff. See what I'm missing.

Yep. Catty and transparently manipulative as anything but she could do that on me all night long.

Your standards are pretty low, she has a face like a rats ass.
Horrible little creature, and I don't particularly like rats neither.

How odd that the week when someone resigns (which is unprecedented?) is also the week when someone refuses to go on "you're fired" (which is also unprecedented?).

Curious

I reckon you're dead right there KTF! Just look at the wheels on the taxi when he gets in, then a few seconds later when you see one wheel from the onboard camera.

And how dare he sack Freckles! That hot little minx was the only reason I watched it.

Weird that. It was in the same week that Labour failed to stop the Syris bombing, and we all know Lord Sugar is a Tory - Need I say more?

Katie Hopkins quit in one of the early series. And there have been a couple of no shows on You're Fired. So nothing unprecedented at all.

I don't get this to be honest, why isn't it blanket PPE everywhere on this site. The only green route ive seen at chemical plants, is your office from the car park to put your ppe on.

Well to call that a "team" task was stretching it - the level of interaction between the pairs was minimal.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, it does seem the series has slipped quite badly;

- Some of the contestants have lost all sense of protocol - stories being leaked to the press whilst the series is not completed, refusing to go on the after show. As a result, we all knew Scott and Selina's days were numbered.
- Producers running out of ideas - seems like most of the tasks are just "sell xyz". What happened to the advertising tasks of the past, treasure hunts in the souk in Marrakesh, tv shopping tasks, branding.
- The main requirement to get through seems to be sales and shouting ability. Anyone who has a more thoughtful or creative approach is usually patronised in the boardroom and then fired.
- Claude seems to bring nothing as an observer - Nick and Margaret were much more astute (and humorous to boot).
Might as well call it "The Salesman" sometimes. What did any of that task have to do with business as opposed to sales?

I think personally Scott had joined thinking it was a serious competition became worn down down and once he thought he had no chance of winning decided to stop wasting his time. If you aren't in it to try and become a celebrity all of the artificial or downright cr*p challenges must become very wearying.

Everybody knows you never go full retard.

Check it out. Dustin Hoffman, 'Rain Man,' look retarded, act retarded, not retarded. Counted toothpicks, cheated cards. Autistic, sho'. Not retarded.

You know Tom Hanks, 'Forrest Gump.' Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and won a ping-pong competition. That ain't retarded.

Peter Sellers, "Being There." Infantile, yes. Retarded, no.

Never go full retard. You don't buy that? Ask Sean Penn, 2001, "I Am Sam." Remember? Went full retard, went home empty handed...

They film all the getting in the taxi scenes at the start, hence why they all wear scarves done right up so you can't see the clothes underneath.

I imagine they chuck the subsequent firee in another cab and drive it round the block to do the final taxi interior shot.

I imagine it's why they all say a generic "I didn't deserve to go, Lord Sugar regret firing me" message, because they don't actually know what led them to be fired when they record the taxi scene!

It's just the walking shot that's predone, the scarves are off again in the taxi. They just say that because they're deluded, not for any production reason.

They don't all say it anyway, some are quite specific about the firing and who they think was at fault. They couldn't say that if it was predone at the outset.

In fact didn't Elle say something along the lines of "I was st, I deserved to go"?
