Erm, that confirms what I said?Scripted/edited or not, I thought Sugar and his 2 fktards had a stty attitude when Scott said he wanted to leave. I was expecting him to put his ego to one side for a second and say something along the lines of "Come on Scott, give it one more go" etc, but instead of giving him some encouragement, they probably made him feel even worse than he already felt. Pricks. Karren would have got my glass of water over her face - glass included.

That would not have done him any favours. Lad was out of his depth & knew it. Talking him out of leaving would have been plain wrong. 2 sMoKiN bArReLs said:

I got the impression that everything that needed to be said had been said behind closed doors and that the boardroom stuff was put on just for the TV show.
He was sat there chewing a wasp wasn't he throughout the Boardroom. Almost as if 'why the fk am I sat here putting up with more st for TV?'Or similar
More out of his depth than that clown faced sales trainer in the bright clothes trying to sell!

If you're going to have a scripted show, have a scripted show. Don't mess people around and pretend otherwise and stitch things up in the background. Smacks of an amateur production team.
The BBC seems to do this with all their most popular shows. Top Gear was/is the same, became more and more scripted and contrived with every series.technodup said:

How odd that the week when someone resigns (which is unprecedented?) is also the week when someone refuses to go on "you're fired" (which is also unprecedented?).
Curious
Katie Hopkins quit in one of the early series. And there have been a couple of no shows on You're Fired. So nothing unprecedented at all.Curious

I disagree. I thought in some of the earlier episodes he was one of the stronger contestants. He became a bit pig-headed a few "weeks" ago and then seemed to lose it over the last two tasks. I think he felt hard done by on some of the tasks by some of the restrictions put in place and probably felt more and more disillusioned by the whole process as the weeks went on. You could see him becoming more and more disinterested as the tasks went by.I think he could have been a strong candidate in "normal world" tasks.

Agreed. I would have put him as one of the final three. It also annoyed me how his defence of never selling property was shot down in flames - selling property is exactly the same as selling insurance isn't it...
I agree that selling property isn't the same as just selling anything, but he didn't really cover himself in glory on the property task - not knowing the apartment layout and where things went for instance.moanthebairns said:
Tonight just confirmed how contrived and scripted this is.
Who the fk buys a flat for a million without a floor plan. Who walks in and just buys a flat there and then.
People who know it will be worth £1.2M when it is completed and don't care what it is like, or people desperate to buy anything before prices rise too much. London is just different to everywhere else.Who the fk buys a flat for a million without a floor plan. Who walks in and just buys a flat there and then.
