Licence to thrill: Paul Hollywood meets Aston Martin
Discussion
Well, I for one can't see what everyone is moaning about. It's a primetime programme about cars, presented by someone who seems genuinely interested in the subject. I enjoyed it, Hollywood wasn't hugely knowledgeable, but very enthusiastic. I believe that he is a genuine petrolhead, rather than 'car fanatic' Glennister with his can't be arsed attitude.

If you watched the programme, and loved the £20million Aston Martin DBR1 racing car, you may be saddened to learn that it's had a bit of a bump that probably won't T-cut out.

"It will cost £100,000's to repair !!!! I think not, old Fred, his hammer, and a few sheets of aluminium, and it'll be all fixed in about 2 months.http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/road-and-ra...
Caught up with this last night.
I was expecting a bit of a knob figurehead for some poor assembly of arty types' dumbed down idea of what viewers want.
I got a petrolhead genuinely made up about the cars he was shown and driving. There was certainly a bit of down-dumbing but compared to the horrors we've seen in other programs this was modest,
