Was watching Countdown this morning whilst getting ready for work and thought one of the contestants looked a bit like MLT and when I sat down to watch it was him- very good as well- won the game 102-34

anyone one else watched?
anyone remember him- what a great player he was

Graeme Le Saux is sat next to Suzie at the moment I think they must have both played for Southampton at the same time (before Le Saux went to Chelsea)

Missed it but will try to find it online.

I thought Le Saux played for Saints after Chelsea? Hazy memory

have googled Le Saux and he did go to Southampton after Chelsea, from 2003 - 2005, in a swap with Wayne Bridge (who I was getting confused with...)

Le Tiss left Southampton in 2002

Nope, Suzie definitely never played for Southampton.

I think there would be many near-suicidal PHers if it was discovered she played for the other side (No, not Chelsea biggrin) )

Looking forward to former player Ali Dia's performance on Countdown shortly.

(am assuming Le God breezed through most of the rounds putting in very little effort before pulling out a 10 wink letter word to win the game)

Matt has been pretty impressive so far, winning all three games comfortably. The previous episode of countdown before Matt's featured a young lad called Thomas Carey, who won all his eight games with scores well in excess of 100.
