Would you and Oobster really not watch it because of one panelist?

I can't see that going unremarked-upon on Cats does Countdown. Jimmy Carr was riffiing on it from the moment they started dating.

Aye. Her public persona that I see on panel shows seems thick as mince but I'm sure she's lovely. I am sad for both of them. Jon gets a lot of ste but seems a nice guy.

She's sharp with a very dry sense of humour, definitely not thick.

They were a slightly odd couple.

I did qualify that by saying "public persona"

They were. And I genuinely wish them both every happiness.

There was much more humour/cynicism to be had out of this story.

It’s the whole point of the program…

Really? They took the mick out of Rayner, and took the mick out of Starmer as well as Rishi.

Zoe Lyons voice really grates on me but decided to watch this anyway, glad I did, reasonably enjoyable one and Paul Merton was good last night, Hannah Fry was also evidently enjoying herself too.

What was it that Prof called herself? (Who I think is great btw - both sharp and self-deprecating)

I also enjoyed the episode - Hannah Fry gives off a mischievous energy, even though she is not a comedian.

Best line was about Rishi Sunak doing his man of the people shtick. He told an interviewer he goes to his local Wetherspoons for breakfast 'and he still has the Wetherspoons app on his phone'
I think it was Hannah Fry who said,

"He's still got the Wetherspoons app on his phone, but had lost all his WhatsApp"? !

Quick, and in retrospect, so obvious comment.

Just on Hannah Fry, if anyone hasn't seen it, her BBC Prog on her own cancer is a must watch. Deeply personal, but with the mind of a scientist applied, riveting and thought-provoking viewing.
